Good video is all about lighting and indeed Good Lighting is about money and plenty of $$$$ when you are talking about specific lighting for specific video use. With all the money we have spend on various brands and of lights, i would like to add into my experience of guerilla lighting techniques.

The above LED is something that I have found as a great alternative in lighting up your set. And, can i say anything about it? Well, to be honest only great things. Its cheap and it’s effective and also allows you to use in a hundred various different ways with your imagination only as the limit.

Imagine 80 Super Bright LEDs to light up your subject or set. Only cost you like a hundred bucks a piece and you can even buy a couple with money to spare compared to buying a SACHTLER R75 with Battery at 2K .

The shoot was scheduled for two days. One indoor and one outdoor.  9th & 10th June 2008. Investing in a few props, Supashooter and Anakin were equally excited about the shoot. Using the Sony HVR -Z1s with a 35mm Brevis setup for one Z1 and the other stock. We made use of the Kessler Crane for some shots which you will also see in the Music Video. Tragedy for the day was a whole load of blown bulbs, immediate replacements were necessary for the following day’s shoot.

The Sony Bluetooth Wireless System is great for the new generation of Sony camcorders with the hot shoe mount. another acquisition to add on to our list of equipment to use with our SONY A1P as well as the SR8. This beats the on board microphones that are on the camcorders anytime and facilitate a better more convenient workflow with the wireless option.

Audio is King! In order to capture flawless audio we added on to our existing equipment list another wireless system for capturing audio. Use for commentaries as well as interviews and also marriage vows we decided that the EW 100 ENG G2 was a great investment.  The recent adjustments in prices is also the reason we decided on this investment for the company.
