The Singapore Tatler Royal Ball 2008 / 26th Anniversary at the Shangri-la Hotel. Island Ballroom, Here we are again pushing for the impossible and we did it. Churning out 400 DVDs to give away this project working in conjuction with WVS and it’s team was a sucess. Reel Productions, Record Play and Reel Motion as well as Treasure Productions was all involve with great work and effort from all.

Here is a short video clip I decided to put together introducing some of the great toys for the PMW-EX3. Paid a visit to EXPANDORE ELECTRONICS and had EX3s galore all around me and also all the great accessories to go with it. Anyway, the shoot only took a couple of hours and credit must be given to Chris the sales executive at Expandore Electronics which did a great job in playing the part superbly

Here is the new HVR-Z5 and addition to SONY’s family of HDV camcorders. Unlike the HVR-Z7 the Z5 does not have an interchangeable lens options. The Z5 is a pre production model therefore please take note that certain features may differ from the production one. Camcorder has been provided by the kind people of Expandore Electronics, supplier of broadcast equipments Video and Audio Professional Equipment.

 guitar performance by Dennis on the number entitled Revelation. Recording and filming was done completely in his home studio with a few black draped table cloths.
Lighting assisted with the Sony HVL-LBP lighting and one LITE PANEL MINI. Colour graded completely in SONY VEGAS PRO 8 and no MAGIC BULLET. Shot with the Canon HV30 and 35mm LETUS MINI Nikon 50mm F1.2 lens and also 35-105mm Nikon. Ambient lighting was very poor and as you can see no gain was added as all shots were set to SPOTLIGHT mode in the Canon HV30.
Lighting condition is exceptionally poor onset.

Here is the crew for the night at the Grand Prix of watches. A night to remember indeed with a  list of who is who including celebrities Michelle Yeoh, Dick Lee,  F1 Felipe Massa and also guest of honour Mr Lee Boon Yang were also present at this prestigious event organised by Singapore Tatler on the 30th September 2008 at the Four Seasons Hotel.

A short visual trailer that we decided to shoot for Sean and his lovely bride to be Shu Hui.

All we had was about two hours and no luck with the sunset ending up behind the clouds instead.

Still, just for 2 hours we still suceeded in getting them to to wet their feet, step on sharp cones, sat on trails of ants, and frantically trying to make handprints on the hard beach sand. It was great FUN!

An original composition from Hagen Tan shot in Treasure Productions studios but unfortunately incompleted. I decided to post the video clip or what is derived from the shoot just so that the effort from the first shoot will not go to waste. We hope to reschedule the shoot some other time to complete it eventually.
